Paul Morgan Donald has been the musical improvisor with Die-Nasty since 1992, with his over the top "La La La La" theme song setting the tone from the top of every performance.

Paul is a musician, singer, composer, actor, writer and director.

As well as Die-Nasty, Paul performs as a musical improvisor with Rapid Fire Theatre, Grindstone Theatre, Atomic Improv and White Rhino Comedy.

As a theatre composer/lyricist, Paul's credits include over 20 original musicals including The Adventures of Wanda and Jack (co-written with partner Michele Fleiger); Kink! a musical about the life and times of 1950's pinup queen Bettie Page; Remoka Rink, a musical look at life around a small town hockey rink, (book by Conni Massing); Marg Skaluba/Pissy's Wife (script by Ron Chambers); and Reefer Madness: the Musical (script Adrian Lackey)

Paul has also created original scores and sound designs for the Free Will Shakespeare Festival, the Citadel Theatre, Shadow Theatre, Workshop West, and other theatres across Western Canada, and appeared as both an actor and musical performer at many of the same theatres.

Notable performances include Cladwell in Grindstone Theatre's production of Urinetown; Jim in All Shook Up and Hi-Pockets in Buddy! The Buddy Holly Musical, both at the Mayfield; Sam Byck in Assassins at Studio Theatre; Amiens in As You Like It at the Free Will Shakespeare Festival; and Mr Moir in Covenant Theatre's production of Kingfisher Days.

He was part of the fictional rock band the DeadRats in a series of hit shows at the Edmonton Fringe Festival in the late 90's, and occasionally records as his one-person rock band The Useless Tools, in which he plays guitar, piano, mandolin, bass, harmonica, banjo, trombone, trumpet and anything else he has handy.
